Press and hold your home screen, choose to add a widget, find 720OPS Status in the list, and place it. From there you can update your ETA or send your position without opening the app. The widget is the fastest way to use Status, so it's worth setting up first.

No. There's no account and no sign-up. You install it, set your words, and go — nothing to register, nothing to log into.

A quick line is a whole status you've saved — status, destination, everything — so you can fire it complete with a single tap instead of building it each time. Save the calls you make every day and they're always one tap away.

Save a place once — its name, its address and its website — and it's there forever. Prepare your day the night before by saving where you're going, and the day itself becomes just taps.

Covert mode drops every word from the widget, leaving only icons. A glance over your shoulder tells a bystander nothing — your status stays between you and your team. You turn it on in the app's settings.

A via route is a stop on the way to the destination. Status works out both times at once — your arrival at the stop and at the destination — and puts them in one line, so the team sees both. This is an ELITE feature.

Add a flight and Status gives you a flight tile with real-time tracking. It saves automatically to your agenda, with departure and arrival notifications, so the principal's flight is on your line and in your calendar. This is an ELITE feature.

Yes, with ELITE. You can replace the widget mark with your own company logo or a photo, so the widget wears your brand.

ELITE adds the live, real-time layer on top: live ETAs, via routes, real-time flight tracking with calendar and notifications, address search, the full icon library, and your own mark on the widget.

Subscribe from inside the app. Billing runs through the App Store or Google Play — the store takes the payment and holds your details, so there's no card information for us to see.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings — it stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Yes. You manage the plan in the app and through your store account. The yearly plan works out far cheaper — about 4 cents a day for STATUS, 27 cents a day for ELITE.

No. There's no server of ours, no account, and no tracking. Your words, places and settings live only on your device. Your location is read only at the moment you tap for an ETA or your position, and never stored by us. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

No. When you send, the message is handed to WhatsApp, which delivers it exactly as it delivers your other messages. We never see it or keep it — we have no server for it to pass through.

No. There is no location history anywhere — not on our side, because we have no server, and the app doesn't follow you between taps. Your position is only ever read at the moment you ask to send it.

Only the one question you ask, at the moment you ask it: when you tap for an ETA or search a place, Google works out that time, route or address. It's the same as using a maps app. Nothing is kept by us, and nothing runs in the background.

720OPS Status runs on modern iPhone and Android phones. It uses your existing WhatsApp to send.

Yes. Status builds your message and hands it to WhatsApp to deliver, so WhatsApp needs to be installed and set up on your phone.

Building your line works anywhere. Sending needs a connection, since the message goes out through WhatsApp, and a live ETA needs a connection to be worked out. Where there's no signal, the line sends the moment one returns.

No. There's nothing running in the background — no tracking, no constant connection. The app only does work at the moment you tap, so it's light on both battery and data.

Your words and places live on the device, behind your phone's own lock. There's no account of yours sitting on a server to be reached, and nothing of yours is stored anywhere else to be taken.
